Automate 2018

26th of March, Fishburners Brisbane

Blackbook's free automation user conference, Automate 2018, was held on 26th of March and was a huge success. As hoped, it was a unique industry event where the focus was on the user; there were no vendors, no product demos, no sales people.

It was an opportunity for those currently on, considering, or put off by the automation journey to share, learn, ask and collaborate with other industry people. We succeeded in making the event totally product agnostic, and so delivered on our goal to give something back to the automation community.

The following are the presentations from the speakers and supporting material generated from the event. To respect the intellectual capital of our presenters, content is for personal use only.

We look forward to seeing you at Automate 2019!

Executive Roundtable

Chaired by Greg Booker (RACQ CIO and Business Owner of the RACQ Automation Program)

Discussion topic: "Knitting technology into the fabric of your organisation"

As new disruptive technologies emerge, IT has now moved out of a supporting role into becoming a major lever that organisations can utilise to drive growth, reduce cost, and deliver superior customer satisfaction. This is an opportunity to discuss with some leaders both on the tech and business side, and what does this look like moving forward from an organisation perspective.
