Problem
This company wanted to provide their Business Development Managers (BDM) a intuitive mapping platform to manage existing clients and look for new businesses.
Solution
We built a mapping / navigation app that had a similar interface to Google Maps. The Read API was an ASP.Net Web API that sat between the app and the company’s databases.
BDM could search by client or contact name within a geographical area and the app returned a list of results with detailed information such as trading / credit information, audits, meetings and client communications.
The API functioned as a query builder and as such, was intentionally light by design to maximise speed.
Results
- Improved efficiency with a one-stop shop app for BDM.
- Improved sales pipeline management.
