The challenge
A leading supplier of high-quality Australian beef to both domestic and international food manufacturing markets, was committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in their operations. The solution
Blackbook AI was engaged to develop and implement a smart vision solution for accurate analysis of meat cuts on the processing line. By integrating CCTV with advanced computer vision algorithms, the solution allowed individual cuts of meat to be precisely identified as they moved along the processing line.
This innovative system enabled each meat cut to be traced back to the original carcass, ensuring that any ‘bad’ meat could be isolated and removed without wasting the entire batch.
